Question 4d

Am I only using information publicly available through legislation or regulation, such as:

  • mandatory reporting information;
  • information obtained from registries of births and deaths;
  • coronial investigations; or,
  • reports of the Australian Bureau of Statistics?

More information

What is "publicly available"?

This means that it has to be published in a form readily accessible to the general public. Information that in theory could be made public through a request under Freedom of Information mechanisms does not count, unless such information is already available to the public (i.e. published as a result of a previous request).

Where can I find out more?
